Horrible. says cars all set when we initially purchased for WAY more than they MSRP'd online. then, after a year later of being told they never have loaners for their own customers, we get the car inspected, and the same day we ask about the wheel bearings because there is a LOUD constant noise when you drive.. their response was, ohh we'll schedule something another time, if you can check the wheel bearing at home you can call us and make an appt.... like, isnt that supposed to be caught by the inspection?? (SAFETY).. very horrible place, would not even loan a vehicle after this until the car got done (saying sometime next week). DO NOT GO HERE!!! the sales rep lied constantly and the GM is never there to help. I cannot give ZERO stars, otherwise I would.

My wife and I bought a truck from planet honda couple months ago, with great hopes of a great experience. The sales guy was great and did everything to get us into what we wanted! After purchasing the truck and few days later the check engine light came on and we tried communicating with there service department. We called a few times and they said "yea we will take care of that for you". Weeks went by and never heard from them like they said they would, tried calling and got no where with empty promises! I ended up getting the parts and fixing it myself! They dropped the ball on the customer service and just washed there hands of us after the purchase.

Drove 2 hours on Saturday from Maine to purchase an Obsidian Blue Passport Elite. Called contact at dealership to let them know we are on our way. We got there right on schedule . We were greeted by Alisha and were told a salesman would be right with us soon . I walked the lot and could not find the blue Passport. Another sales associate said it’s probably underneath the building in some garage. Two hours later my wife and I are still waiting with no one even acknowledging us. All kinds of dealership employees walking around and up to four employees sitting behind a counter doing absolutely nothing. Never saw Alisha again until I was leaving out the door. They sold the Blue Passport before I ever got there. It was a bait and switch. They offered me $ 2500 off MSRP to get me there then tried to get me to buy one of 4 red trailsports they had on the lot. This was Saturday July 29th.

Horrible, horrible, worst ever experience at Planet Honda in Tilton, NH, and that is saying a lot for this retired couple who have purchased many, many new cars in our lifetime.This was a classic example of a total bait and switch operation. We went in thinking maybe it was time to downsize while we still had some decent equity in our Pilot. We test drove both the Passport and CRV. Their service department test drove our Pilot and we eventually agreed on a trade in amount. We discussed purchasing vs leasing and the finance guy asked us if we had considered a TrailSport. He mentioned that he had four 2023 red Trailsports on the lot and maybe a few others. He pulled a key to get a VIN number, ran the numbers, and came back to us with a lease amount. I have his handwritten offer which states “In-Stock Only.”As he was doing this, I walked, with the salesman, and looked at a red 2023 TrailSport. I immediately informed him that I didn’t care for this color and instead wanted to test drive the white 2023 TrailSport that was sitting two cars down. The salesman said let me go tell finance you don’t want the red and I’ll pull the key for the white. Because we had been there so long they allowed us to take the white one by ourselves for an extended test drive. We came back to the dealership and said we’d take the offer.The process then went as far as them bringing the white car we had chosen into Service for cleaning and removing everything from our old car into the new one. They had even removed the plates from our old car. At no point did anyone say to us that changing the color would change the offer.We then waited a very long time (almost 2 hrs.) for finance to “finish paperwork” and when they finally brought us into the office to sign the lease, he said they had made a “mistake.” He said the paperwork he had submitted to Honda financing was for one of the four red 2023 TrailSports he had on his lot, not the white 2023 TrailSport cleaned and waiting for us.It was at this point ( at least 5 hours into the whole thing) that he said if we really wanted the white one that the trade-in offer would decrease by $6,000.00, or we could get the original trade-in value and increase our lease payment by over $200.00 per month. Needless to say, we walked out totally disgusted.Our “stunned” salesman had the nerve to ask if we’d be back on Monday to finish the deal. Two days later, I called to speak to the General Manager regarding their deceptive practices. I ended up speaking to the Customer Service Manager who was SO SORRY, and who would DEFINITELY investigate how this happens and get back to us. Guess what……haven’t heard a thing.Stay far, far away from this dealership!

Don't waste your time. The online payment calculator and quotes they send you are waaaay off. I spoke with Alicia and told her what I could afford and she assured me they could work with me,went in, talked with Gabe and it seems like all they really want is to get you in there to see how much cash they can take from you,not to help people with families get decent affordable cars. By far the worst experience I've had purchasing a vehicle from any dealership. They sold me my brand new 2023 Honda Odyssey without two keys. I was given a "we owe" form and told that they were happy to get me a key and program it. But I may have to wait a couple months due to shortages. We'll it's been 7 months and at this point there hasn't even been a return call. I've spoken to managers and sales people to no avail. I'm not sure what to do, but tell anyone who'll listen to stay away. I haven't even mentioned the process of buying or delivery of the vehicle. I drove two hours to sign papers and pick up the car. I asked that everything be prepped and done by finance so I could be out quickly. I was there 4 hours!! I don't have enough time or energy to write anymore. Just please take your business elsewhere. I hope this helps someone avoid this disaster of a dealership who sells cars because there isn't another Honda dealer anywhere near them.

Zero stars.. I received a price from them through true-car pricing, they follow-up with a price that was 100.00 more. I asked for full disclosure to determine final cost. I worked with MATT and Alicia to set a FINAL price, which I though we agree to. I traveled to the Tilton location, 50 miles away, and they would NOT honor to the original pricing from True car. They insisted the "protection package" was part of the car and it deliver that way.. What a line of Cra&, this is just a markup scam. If you, plant Honda sends a price to a customer, via true car pricing then you need to honor that price. Called and asked if an offer still stood, he told us YES, just needed to pull the credit and if that lined up with the interest rate then it would be all set. Pulled the credit, called and said credit lined up but then all of a sudden the offer changed AFTER the credit was pulled because “that’s what his sales manager told him to relay”. This is truly the most dishonest dealership I have ever worked with. I spoke with one of their backend representatives and did the online payment calculator on their website - I knew there were disclaimers to the calculator but I figured it would increase the monthly payment $10-20 dollars. I walked in expecting to walk out with a car given the pre-work done. I should have known when I told the salesman this would be the easiest sale and his response was "just wait, something always complicates it". Well it did - he came back from finance and the monthly payment was $120 more a month! What a scam! I had chosen this place because I liked the person I was dealing with over email but Grappone Honda gave me a price (a bit more than what was estimated at first at Planet Honda) and stuck to it! I do not recommend Planet Honda given this type of practice.

Shout out to CHEVY DUDE whose online videos warn us about this very deceptive practice as well as other tips on getting a fair deal when buying a car.Also, PLANET HONDA offered me $5,000 LESS than I was offered at other dealerships for a trade value so PLEASE, whatever they offer you, they are able, though most likely not willing, to offer you A LOT MORE! If they aren't willing to pay a fair amount for your trade, another dealer will be more than willing.PLEASE make INFORMED and smart decisions regarding the money YOU earn. Assuming there really are 638 reviews prior to this review, and assuming I have counted all the 1 star reviews (there are 42 that I count), then the 1 star reviews make up 6.58% of the total reviews, so I think the bar graph is misleading as well. Seems we live in a misleading world. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
